The Gold Leaf’s Saltine Christmas Candy (Toffee) Recipe

AKA “Christmas Canna-Crack”

Ingredients:

  • Saltines

  • Unsalted Butter

  • Salt

  • Light Brown Sugar

  • Chocolate Chips

  • Incredibles, Sin City, Milk Chocolatey Toffee Bar

Instructions:

Step 1: Butter a 10x 14 baking dish (use canna-butter for extra points!)

Lay saltines in pan…

Step 2: Create the “Caramel”…

In a large sauce pan heat butter and brown sugar, stirring until dissolved. Cook for 5 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spread caramel evenly over saltine crackers.

Bake for 6-8 minutes at 375 degrees until everything is bubbling.

Step 3: Remove from oven and while still warm, break up Incredibles and Chocolate bars, then toss onto caramel to melt.

Sprinkle chocolate chips over cooling toffee.

Wait (about 3 minutes) until chocolate chips are melted, then spread evenly.

Step 4: Let cool to room temperature, then pop in the refrigerator to chill. When hardened, pull it out, bust it up and enjoy!
